When the lawyer came to Jesus asking what he must do to inherit eternal life, Jesus responded, “What is written in the law? how readest thou?” We have to ask ourselves the same question, “How are we going to read what is written in Scripture?”
A Sound Mind

Paul tells us that
2Timothy 1:7 . . . God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
We therefore know that if our minds are not “sound,” it is not God’s will. There is also the implication that fear could be at the root of any lack of power, love or soundness of mind that we might experience.
Dominion Is Received, not Taken
A few nights ago (Thursday) I awakened during the night with a cough and a hot, tickling throat that I’ve always associated with the onset of a cold. I got out of bed and began to listen. Many Scriptures were brought to my mind as I felt the love of God enveloping me.
Decisions
When I make a decision based on the knowledge that my prayers are answered before I ask and that the Christ, the Son of the living God, is my true identity and that there is only one power which is good, it will always be the right
decision.
Choose LIFE (Part 1)
I am once again reminded of the simplicity that is in Christ
(2Corinthians 11:3) as I ponder this Scripture:
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may live:

We’ve often heard the saying that it is darkest before the dawn, meaning that often things get worse before they get better; so we should not admit defeat when victory is just ahead.
