Knowledge or Love

In our spiritual journey, we all continue to increase in our knowledge of God. Many of us have the revelation that there is but one Power (God Omnipotent) and that it is always good, that there are not two powers, one of evil that we must “overcome” while we are in “this world.” We know that the kingdom of God is within each of us and that we can experience that kingdom now, that we don’t have to wait until we die to enter it. We know that every man is God in expression, made in His image and likeness and given dominion over all the rest of creation.

No Condemnation

I went to bed at 9:00 last night and awakened this New Year’s morning at 1:30, hearing the still small voice inside speaking words of life. I understood that I can never justifiably judge, condemn or criticize another because we are all on the same spiritual journey from the darkness of personality into the light of our true identity which is the Christ,

The Mote and the Beam

Yesterday afternoon my best girlfriend and I of nearly 40 years had something of an “altercation” in which I responded out of my humanity and immediately regretted having said anything. I knew there was but one thing for me to do: get quiet inside and listen. I have long since learned (and written) that the Christ inside (which is my true identity) has a solution to any so-called “problem” that I can experience in my humanity. I understand that I in my humanity cannot rectify any condition that I have attracted to myself as a result of my fears, insecurities and false beliefs. I cannot blame another for what I myself create by living out of my human consciousness rather than out of my God consciousness (the “mind of Christ” that we all have (1Corinthians 2:16) but are often unaware of).

Listening from Within

My husband and I are visiting Bowling Green, Ohio, where we lived for over 30 years before moving away. Waldemar had expressed the desire to visit Amish country and buy some garlic knocks to take home with us. He wanted to go home via our son’s house and have him make a bonfire to roast the knocks as we had so often done when he was a child and we were camping. We had decided some days ago that we would go yesterday. But night before last we looked at weather.com and saw that the high temperature for the day was to be 56 degrees and that it was to be mostly cloudy and 17mph winds. Since our reason for choosing this time of year for our visit was to see the autumn colors, it didn’t seem like a very good choice to go yesterday. We saw that Monday was supposed to be sunny and 64 degrees; so we went to bed believing that we would go Monday.

“Think Not”–“Think On”: The Parable of the Sower

Today I heard the inner voice telling me to stop analyzing ANYTHING, that this constant over-thinking is robbing me of the peace Jesus has freely given. Jesus taught us to take no thought about the things we think most about. As I am constantly listening to the still small voice of Spirit, I am to do and say what I FEEL to do and say as a result of what I’m hearing, not what I THINK I should do and say.

One Thing Is Needful

Luke 10:38-42  Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
